New Delhi, August 2015: Pistachios are wonder nuts! Not because of the amazing health and nutrition benefits that they carry, but also for the astounding history they have. The Queen of Sheba loved pistachios so much that she demanded the entire region’s pistachio harvest be set aside for her. Foodhall, India’s premium lifestyle food superstore collaborated with American Pistachio Growers (APG), a non-profit voluntary agricultural trade association body to introduce high quality pistachios in to mainstream cooking. Foodhall’s Corporate Chef from France – Olivier Vincenot conducted a demo class on Saturday, 8th August 2015 on various ways in which we can use these skinny nuts in our daily cooking habits.
The guests donned their chef’s hat and witnessed Chef Olivier Vincenot dishing out lip smacking recipes called Pistachio Hummus signature recipe by American Pistachio Growers, Pistachio Cannoli, Pistachio Blanc Manger. This delightful afternoon was well attended by food enthusiasts and promised to be a real treat for all food lovers as the chef enabled them nurture the chef in them.
